Dear Sirs, FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. LESLIE BUMPERS In reply to your letter of the 20th inst., we are naturally very perturbed at the delays which have taken place in connection with the sample Bumpers, but as pointed out to you during our telephonic conversation today, the real trouble is in getting the Steel machined to the section required, a difficulty which we feel you will appreciate. If the people who are machining the Material for us keep their definite and final promise today we should have the steel at these Works by Monday next 24th inst., in which case we shall do everything possible to let you have at least one Bumper by Thursday next 27th inst. Yours faithfully, For WILMOT-BREEDEN LTD. ENGINEERING DEPT. LARGEST MANUFACTURERS OF BUMPERS IN EUROPE | ||
