Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. West. We have recently received one or two orders for Tank Attachments fitted with Warning light contacts, and while we are proceeding with these, we would like to take this opportunity of pointing out that the alterations to the bakelite mouldings are purely of a temporary nature. We would refer in particular to the extra spring plunger, this is being fitted by being pushed into a hole drilled in the bakelite, and may eventually become loose. In the event of your deciding to standardise the warning light contact, we would of course, modify our moulds, or make new ones so that the inserts would be moulded in position. You will appreciate however, that for samples it is not possible to do this. In view of the position, we shall be glad if you will kindly let us have your comments. Yours faithfully, for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED. V.{VIENNA} Russell, ELECTRICAL ENGINEER. TO AVOID DELAY ALL ENVELOPES SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO THE FIRM. | ||
