14th. March, 1939.

Messrs. Delco Remy & Hyatt Ltd.,
111, Grosvenor Road,
LONDON.S.W.1.

For the attention of Mr.C.H. Blazey.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 2nd. March, we have now found that the cause of the failure was due to a tight coupling and not due to any fault in the distributor.

We are sending under separate cover, a covering order for the repair of the distributor which is now in your hands. I have had several enquiries for your New Departure handbook on bearings, one of which Mr. W.A.Crewe kindly gave to me on a recent visit. We should deem it a favour if you would be so kind as to supply us with two copies of the 1939 edition.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
