X.3630 Referring to your scheme shewing the magneto base for the 40/50 H.P. chassis which provides the 20° inclined position for the magneto, would you kindly note that Mr.Royce would like you to adopt scheme 155 in preference to scheme 154. He would like to know if there is any reason why the fixing nut of the clamp should point towards the cylinders instead of occupying the apparently more accessible outward position. Further, Mr. Royce thinks that the dowel peg might be .187" diameter instead of .250". Would you kindly instruct the necessary models for standardisation. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
