X4538 To BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG24.11.22. GOSHAWK WEIGHTS, BJ17/H23.11.22. When 7-Goshawk-11 was running in France, the weights were as follows :- Chassis - 2378 lbs. Passengers - 320 lbs. Spares and tools - 200 lbs. - more than std. spares were carried. Body - 1152 lbs. Total weight - 4050 lbs. - car complete. Generally, we should say that all the other weights in Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/M5.10.22 are correct. The weight for the rear axle and springs is given as 400 lbs. , whereas, it is about 525 lbs. This does not effect the propotion of the weights front and rear, it only effects the propotion of load carried on the rear springs. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
