To CWB. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} BY X4565. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/LG16.3.27. BALLOON TYRES ON 20 HP. With reference to CWB11/GM15.3.27. We have run 33 X 6" balloon tyres over 10,000 miles on a 20 HP. car. We have no objection to these tyres being fitted where such are specially demanded by customers. We have run both traction tread and triple stud tyres of these dimensions. We prefer the traction tread if these can be supplied by Messrs. Dunlops.
