For the attention of C.H.Smith,Esq.,

Dear Sir,

I have gone into the matter of the ball bearing mounted steering roller, drawing numbers F.89828/9 and F.89831/2, fairly thoroughly since I spoke to you here yesterday afternoon, and have discovered one or two other mistakes that appear to have crept into the detail dimensions. I am enclosing with this letter corrected prints and I hope these will enable you to proceed with the actual parts.

Briefly, the differences are as follows:-

(1) Diameter of ball track in outer race increased to 1.1459 as per your telephoned request.

(2) Diameter of ball track on inner race increased to 0.8623 as per your telephoned request.

(3) Diameter of intersection point corrected to 1.6378 for F.89831 and 1.6438 for F.89832, as per your sketch ( Dimension has been checked here).

(4) Width of roller altered to 1.1625. This gives a minimum flat of .060 on the ends of the roller on F.89831 and a correspondingly larger one on F.89832.

Cont'd.....
