X.8791 I understand it is now agreed as a standard job that the driver may get a shock in case the separate on and off switch for the magneto is used when the main ignition switch is on magneto only. I still insist that this should be avoided. I agree that to use the switch as above is not necessary and should not be done. This, however, is not made clear in the Instruction Book, and even so I still suggest that we may have the extreme case of a highly strung and nervous lady driver, who uses the switch as above either accidentally or purposely, and a shock to such a person may mean instant momentary collapse. In such a case we may be accused of "criminal negligence". This view may appear pessimistic, but the possibility of such has on previous occasions been put to me by CJ. as very important, and should always be raised. EP. {G.
