Y330 HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M17.9.36. Copy to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} HAND BRAKE ON L.H. CHASSIS. X.7772 X.7330 With reference to HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/MJ11930., as we expect you do not want to reduce leverage on the hand brake it will be necessary to increase the movement of the hand brake lever roughly 20%. from the figures you give. Would you please say whether this increased movement should be obtained by moving the handle forward, or can we pull it further back? Possibly half and half will be found to be the best way. Would BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} please send us the Derby production-drawing - General Arrangement of the Hand Brake. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
