Childs} 11/JH. -2- 11th June, 1938. the standard battery to be only just good enough in this respect we cannot recommend the STXR9A as an alternative. We have however, tested a Lucas 12STXW11 as fitted to the Jaguar car and find this very promising, we are arranging for further tests to be carried out on this battery We are returning the 9 plate battery under separate cover marked for your attention.
