BRAKES.- squeak and squawk when first using. Inclined to thump and not so progressive, i.e. difficult to apply gently. Very effective and sound. Absence of retard"clank" very good feature.

CLUTCH.- very sweet action but inclined to slip if used roughly - as it will get with some drivers.

AXLE.- generally quiet, but at times sets up a growl which disappears and cannot be reproduced. Should be investigated - is lubrication O.K. Not satisfactory as it is.

STARTER GEARS - noisy, uneven. Have teeth been damaged?

OIL LEAKS from dynamo drive.

RADIATOR SHUTTERS seem too delicate, stuck open on one occasion. Suggest thermostat work at higher temperature. Improve carburation, probably better consumption.

BONNET - front support for top hinge requires smoothing off.

STARTER works O.K. but plugs failed, due to condensation after starting up from cold. This is a general weakness with this type of plug (Mica K.L.G.) Previously reported by Mr. We have had similar trouble on test. O.K. with Lodge (Steatite)

VALVE OR TAPPET SQUAWK came on after running for some time and was very noisy.
