'INDIA' GEARBOX.

We have confirmed on a car running with full torque on 1st. speed gear that a very slight taper in the bore of the pinion will prevent it working out.

We first of all proved that the gear did work out, but since the modification we have tested it for several days xx and there are no signs of it wanting to work out. We have examined the gears after 4 hrs. full torque on 1st. speed and there are no signs of excessive movement having taken place on the splines.
