As to general fitting and finish of the interior of the body and seat comfort, the 10-HP Wolseley was remarkable and is worthy of note from this point of view. Its performance, however, was down on either the Standard or the Hillman.

If expense did not enter into the matter, I would suggest that we buy a Standard, a Hillman and a Wolseley. The prices - which are always changing now-a-days - are from £169 up to £270 approximately.

As pointed out above, the Standard 10 is no longer produced but I think with a little careful searching I should be able to procure a good second-hand car. Incidentally it would be interesting to see what condition it was in after having done some work.

If you agree to the purchase of any of these vehicles, I will get busy at once if you will kindly let me know.

As I am going to see Hagg of The Walton Yacht Works on Saturday next at Marlow, and Rootes Service Organisation on Monday next, I can attempt to locate a second-hand Standard if you agree.
