The differential bevel wheel Ex.31271, produced in S/ZNCR., shows signs of picking up, the initial clearance between the bevel wheel and casing being .006. The off side differential casing, produced in S/N., shows signs of wear, the near side casing in S/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} being in good condition.

The differential gear adjusting washers, produced in A.C.2. material, have worn approximately .010 in thickness.

The bearings on each side of the differential casing show signs of having been revolving on the casing.

Spring suspension brackets, secured to the axle by half the specified number of .250 diameter taper pins, have been checked, and no movement has taken place between the axle tube and bracket.
