| -3- Silver RippleSmall prototype with 3.5 litre 6-cylinder engine Chassis. This is a new Chassis, the frame being as B.V. Roy {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} /Les is arranging to obtain the first production type frame. Specification has been issued. CHASSIS ON TEST. Ph.III.No.35.Ex. On test for Hydraulic Gear Lever Movement, Assisted Clutch and Overdrive Gear Box etc. 4.B.IV. On test for further experience of Overdrive Gear Box 10 x 43 ratio rear axle fitted with B.24 Unit. We are to fit to this car SCD.1279 Shear pins to Side Steering Tube. We are informed by LK. {L. King} that these parts are now ready and RH. {R. Hollingworth} requests that the car should be sent into the shop for this modification to be incorporated as soon as possible. 1.B.V. On test for general development fitted with B.V.No.2 Unit. The Flexible flywheel has been fitted since the last meeting. 3.B.V. In the shop being stripped for 100% inspection and report after 50,000 miles test. 9.B.V. RH. {R. Hollingworth} stated that this should be sent into the shop on Thursday he 4th for the purpose of incorporating FCD.1170 Pedals etc., and new Rear Axle gears, including the Propeller Shaft modification to SCD.1277 Noise Insulated Centre Bearing. 1.B.50. On test for general development fitted with B.V.No.3 Unit. 2.B.50. The engine unit has been removed from this car, namely, Wraith III No.9 Unit, on which we are to incorporate the flexible flywheel, we anticipate this will be completed and passed to test by the 10th. ...continued...
