W/S PN.{Mr Northey} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X235 5-0 EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}9/H30.9.26. re. Hydraulic Shock Absorbers. With reference to your memo PN{Mr Northey}5/EH29.9.26. the Experimental Department have already issued preliminary information relating to the Hydraulic Shock Absorbers, see Experimental Technical Instructions, Item 15, Vibration Damping and Shock Damping devices. We understand that they have further memoranda in the course of preparation relating to Hydraulic Shock Absorbers. Apart from the above, when we have had some experience of these Shock Absorbers on Production Chassis we shall probably be issuing some further notes based on this experience, as it is our practice to do with any new feature. We usually issue these instructions about the time that chassis fitted with such new features are getting into service. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} MADGE CROWLEY | ||
