| X46175. E.Y.C. J.D.14. 11-7-29 X46175. Re Tests on SX Battery (159) This battery has now run 13,787 miles & has been on our bench life test 13 months. On Low Rate Discharge through a constant external resistance of 1.80w 21.3 ampere hours were obtained, three cells no's 3, 4, & 5, shewed positive weakness. On High Rate Discharge through a constant external resistance of .100w. Initial amperes - 105 Time to 100 " = 2.2 min " " 90 " = 2.6 " " " 80 " = 5.1 " All cells shewed negative weakness. No 3, 4, & 5 cells seem to be about at the end of their life as they have a very poor capacity. no 4 is a Standard Exide & no's 3+5 have the apices of the grid (front 1/4) | ||
