1139 FILE COPY To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 19.6.40. RE: GENERAL FILTERS. With reference to the arrangement for fitting the above filters to Bentley and Rolls Royce cars. The blue prints, tracing and fitting instructions are completed and handed to F.{Mr Friese} Dodd at Clan Foundry. Lists of all chassis Nos. are also included. The drawings for the two new pipes and the 3-way connection for attachment to main oil feed were handed to B. Hollingworth for the necessary parts to be made. The difficulty at the time of leaving the job was a casting for the 3-way connection and Dorricott had this in hand. All that is required to complete the job is erecting the parts when made and a photograph. The general filter and parts for fitting obtained from London (Br's Dept) were not used and are good stock.
