X4261 c. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} /Thn11/H3.12.23. re. 20-HP Broken Front Springs. 41-G-6 Salamanca Trials. We have received a complaint from Madrid that there has been a breakage on the front springs of the above car. It was found on investigation that the main leaves were broken. The breakage occurred at the centre spring bolt. In order to get the parts in our hands quickly, Madrid have cut off the broken portions, so that these could be sent by quick route and save the carriage of sending the whole of the main plates. Incidentally, we have not heard anything from you in reference to our EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} /Thn18/H24.10.23 regarding the front springs returned to you off 41-G-3, P.
