The omission of lead washers on a new type of P&R battery.

The sample P&R.{Sir Henry Royce} battery type 6-TBS-7A. recently received by us from the makers differed from our 40/50 battery in that the lead washers had been left off underneath the cell to cell connections. We have proved that these lead washers are a desirable feature in the case of our 40/50 battery from the point of view of electrical contact surface and prevention of corrosion.
