Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/SM7/L26913. Re Steering Wobbles. X.457 Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} 26-9-13. The following is a copy of Mr Day's instruction sheet of 25/9/13 :- "Mr Royce has asked me to investigate the above question and if possible get it settled finally. Accordingly he wishes me to have a car fitted with pivots very much inclined backwards, about 3/4 at the top in fact, and after trying it under various conditions reduce the inclination and observe the results. I am also to try various conditions of balance on the wheels. Could you have a car fitted as above so that I can go into it with Mr Haldenby." Will you kindly arrange for a car as above. We also attach a copy of Mr Johnson's memo CJ14/GT25913. p. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} | ||
