Scheme.

PD.25
This involves a modification to the standard Bentley head, involving the fitting of a venturi seat. We propose running a check curve on the standard Bentley unit whilst we are waiting for PD.22, andwe should then be glad if you would fit this head up ready for testing. As you will appreciate, it is a job we can use right away on standard engines if it proves favourable.

PD.30
We should like these as soon as possible, as this again is a job we can cash in on straight away on the standard engines.

Further schemes are coming forward, mainly mechanical improvements, such as lightened valve gear, inserted exhaust valve seats and etc., and these should be urged as they are issued.

With regard to spares, we are rather short at present, and we consider that a complete set of spares should be urged with each head, so that heads may be supplied complete and ready for fitting. Most of the parts necessary have been instructed.
