"OIL NEVER WEARS OUT" Read what the U.S. Bureau of Standards says: "The Bureau has analysed a considerable number of samples of reclaimed crankcase oil and found many of them do show as great excellence in the commonly measured properties as do the so-called new oils. It is believed possible that such oils may be more stable than new oil . . . because the more readily oxidizable constituents presumably have been removed." NOW READ WHAT LUBER-FINER OWNERS Have to Say:* Our lorries have operated more than 5,000 miles and the oil in the crankcase is still in excellent condition, without changing the packs or draining the oil during that time. Both of our lorries had over 26,000 miles when the Luber-finers were installed, and the outstanding results that have been achieved warrant equipping our entire fleet. For example, on one of our Brockway tractor-trailers we installed a Luber-finer with the speedometer 76,424 miles, without changing the oil or flushing the crankcase. The lorry then covered an additional 17,000 miles before it was necessary to replace a refining pack. The results obtained are more than satisfactory. Our recent experience with this remarkable device has been so outstanding that we have decided to install them on our entire fleet of eighty vehicles. One of our early installations was on a model 704 White lorry which does approximately 150 miles per day. A Luber-finer was installed at 8,000 miles and the oil did not begin to discolor until 30,000 miles. The refining pack was then replaced without changing the original oil and the truck run an additional 4,000 miles with both colour and quality of oil remaining unchanged. In our opinion a motor lubricated with oil as clean as Luber-finer keeps it will increase the life of a motor 75 per cent. At the time the crankcase was removed, inside was as clean and free from sludge as when the motor came from the factory. Bearings and rods needed no adjustment as there was no wear. The timing chain case, which is the greatest collector of sludge, was inspected and found absolutely free from any. We have previously tried several well-known oil filters but are replacing them with Luber-finers. *These are unsolicited testimonials. Original letters are in our files. Names on request. THIS IS A MODEL 185 Luber-finer installed on a passenger car of popular make. Note the size and position that Luber-finer occupies in this typical installation.
