MOUNTINGS FOR 40 mm. GUN.

The Admiralty changed their minds again yesterday as to the mounting which they require on the first gun.

They have now called for the pedestal type mounting. This should be completed by the end of the week.

The shields have only just been instructed and therefore it is doubtful if these can be fitted up before the end of the week. We told the Admiralty this when they changed their minds.

If everything else is ready for despatch before the armoured shield is completed, we shall arrange for this item to follow the gun down to the Power Boat Company.
