1041 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}2/ET. 4th December, 1940. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} BARCLAY Esq., 12/13, St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} George Street, Hanover Square, LONDON W.1. Dear Mr. Barclay, Very many thanks for your letter of the 2nd instant, reference JDB/MRW. The BUICK which I mentioned to you has been put into commission by the Transport Department and is now doing a very good job of work, so it has been decided not to sell. Actually, I think I mentioned this to Peters when I saw him recently. So sorry you had the trouble of chasing up a customer and then are not able to get the car to offer it. Kind regards, Yours sincerely, | ||
