(9). SHOCK DAMPERS. - There is no prospect of getting the rear shock dampers of the progressive type finished for the first of the 500 chassis, but they will be standardised as soon as possible. The front shock dampers are to have the larger size of ball for their connecting links, while the connection to the axle is to be simplified into a cantilever ball, as explained in a separate note to Mr. Bailey.
