Dear Sir,

We require for urgent tests, a special pair of Phantom 1 front springs. The springs are to be similar to A.8545 - G.4541 - G.4632, except that the secondary leaves will be thinner and will have greater initial camber.
Springs should have 4.5" free camber and give 4.5" deflection at 1125 lbs. load. We think the reduction in rating can be obtained by grinding .015" off each leaf. The first five leaves of these springs should be grooved and drilled similar to the present Phantom ll F.80880.

Below we give particulars in detail:-

Loaded lbs.......... 1125 (handwritten: 1088)
Loaded camber....... flat.
Length............. 43 1/4"
Initial camber..... 4 1/2" (handwritten: 4.720)
No. of leaves...... 14.

Thickness of leaves.

Main....... .250" (handwritten: 250)
No.2....... .215" (handwritten: 209)
No.3....... .215" (handwritten: 212)
No.4....... .205" (handwritten: 198)

No.7....... .200" (handwritten: 198)
No.8....... .200" (handwritten: 200)
No.9....... .175" (handwritten: 175)

Yours faithfully,
