RE. TEST CABRIOLET BODY FOR 20 HP.

The decision to recommend a cabriolet body for the 20 HP. subframe was only made after intelligent consideration.

We have already tested two cars which were made specially to bring out booms fitted with the subframe. Also, the majority of bodies which we have on order are the boom type. Apart from the booms, however, we have got to satisfy ourselves that the structure of the sub-frame is sufficiently strong to support the cabriolet body. This is by far the worst type.

In our opinion, it is far more important that we should be absolutely certain that the subframe structure is not going to fall to bits, than it is to make further comparisons as regards booming.

We therefore expect the order for the cabriolet body for the 20 HP. to still be put in hand.
