WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} PN.{Mr Northey} RE. WHEELBASE - 40/50 AND 20 HP. X.4260. X.3440 We made occasion to bring the Goshawk up to the villa for experience. It left an impression that the wheelbase of this and the 40/50 should be kept as short as at present if possible. Or that it would be better to continue the lengths of chassis. The steering lock will not make up for a very long chassis, but of course the big lock should be maintained the same as the present 40/50. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
