Chapel-en-Frith.

For the attention of Mr.Field.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of Oct. 31st, and note your remarks.

Our own impression is that the C.O.F. definitely falls off with temperature to a much greater degree than the standard Ferodo, and for this reason we are somewhat doubtful of its satisfactory performance on a clutch. However, we should like to try some clutch discs to drawing G.100480 for our 25 HP. car. At the same time we have a clutch with a fabric on the driven member and in view of your remarks would like to try six discs in VDM-20, as it is essential that we should get a smooth take up. We enclose a drawing of this disc which is to Piece No. G.101057.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
