17th Sep.t. 1919.

X.1581 - 220/450 TRANSFORMER.

With the gauges on the attached page, the area of coils
= 2.62 x 9 (sq. ins)
= 23.6

Area available = 3.49 x 11.4(sq. ins.)
= 39.8

This allows a clearance area of
.87 x 2.4 sq.ins.
for insulation, packing up, etc.

(In the original 100/2000 winding the primary
had 270 turns (19 or 20 gauge) D.C.C. wire.
Coil(primary) area was .58 x 9 sq. ins).
= 5.22
