being heavier would be less likely to vibrate rapidly.

The grunt is worse when the brake is used when the car is moving slowly backward.

Parallel control of Rear Axle. L.161.

To carry out the experiments set out in Mr Royce's note H16/P41213 we are obtaining chassis 1413 which is an old experimental car and is now being overhauled in the Repair Shop for sale. We will have long side springs fitted and Mr Day is instructing a pair of brackets to take the place of the half springs. Mr Bailey is ordering the special parts necessary to give more sliding movement to the rear propeller joint.

This is the pivot which ran for 100 hours on reversal test without failure. A pair of them is running on the bumping machine and so far have run 24 hours and are still running. They show up considerably better than the present 2700 type with the large bore stub. We will continue to run them on the bumping machine.
