To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} 6092 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.1/JH.25.5.37. We are very anxious to carry out tests with the new Lucas regulator fitted to one or two of our experimental cars. The cars we are anxious to try are the Wraith, number 25-G-VI and 33-EX. The road tests we wish to make would consist of taking the car cold (this is very important) taking measurements in the cold condition, and then running on the road until the car reaches maximum temperature carrying out voltage and current measurements at regular intervals during the test. These tests are very important and if it is impossible to work them in during the day time, we shall have to make arrangements to run the tests after time, but we wish to avoid this if it is at all possible. Can you please fix up these tests for us at the earliest convenience. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. | ||
