| To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 6092 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.2/JH.5.6.37. Re Chassis 32-EX. The voltage regulator of this chassis has given trouble, and we wish this to be changed for the 10,000 miles test, for a new type Lucas LR{Mr Ellor}/T. It is important that this changeover be effected before the car leaves for London. Will you please arrange to fit this regulator to the car as soon as possible, the alterations required will be :- (a) Alteration to the connection of the field winding on the dynamo. (b) Fit the regulator unit to the dash. (c) Alterations to the wiring of the regulator and dynamo as per our wiring diagram EL.392. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. | ||
