Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of the 30th. inst. - it would appear that the Instrument you are interested in is our Electrical Tachometer incorporating an Electrical Generator and a Cirscale Moving Coil Indicator. A Cirscale is a patented Moving Coil Voltmeter giving an angular deflection of 300 degrees. Thousands of these Voltmeters have been supplied in the last few years and are giving satisfaction in all parts of the world, and we have supplied hundreds of Electrical Tachometers to Motor Car Manufacturers, Ship Builders, Printers and other trades and also to the American Navy. Furthermore, Indicators of a similar type have been made for the Air Ministry and if you will refer to them they will tell you that our type has been most successful that has been supplied to them. We have also supplied large quantities of Wattmeters to the Motor trade for use with Tachometers as mentioned above for measuring the power of Motor Car Engines. | ||
