GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 3½ & 4¼-Litre Bentley Push Rods. Complaints of noisy tappets are in many cases found to be due to the permanent bending of the push rods. It appears to be a growing trouble. There are also cases of bad wear which has taken place on the bottom pad of the push rods. A large pip is formed corresponding to the hole drilled in the tappet cup. GWH.{George W.
