TBB27/L41212 X.294. X1357 1354 With regard to the C.A.V. lamps, we have made comparative tests of the smaller model (F) and the larger model (G) whihh you were not in favour of, and a Lucas No.G66. The tests were made on the Track by means of a piece of white paper spotted with oil interposed between two lampsabout 60 yards apart. Equal light was obtained at the following distances :- C.A.V. mdoel F.{Mr Friese} medium 27 yards C.A.V. model G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} large 33 yards Lucas type G66 30 yards The weights of the two models are as follows:- C.A.V. Model G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 11.5 lbs. C.A.V. model F.{Mr Friese} 7.9 lbs The brackets fitted to 2100 E for these lamps are not to drawing, the unnecessary bend in the stem of the bracket is not on drawing. | ||
