ORIGINAL TO ROY{Sir Henry Royce} FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Copy to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/M19.9.24. 44547 We thank you for the booklet and letters concerning Messrs Noble's Industries products. We note that HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} now has some enamels providing a good egg shell black finish, and we suggest that a Goshawk II. steering column quadrant be blacked and tested, as this is the one fitting where the black enamel at present used seems to rapidly come off.
