Dear Sirs, We are duly in receipt of your favour of the 6th inst. reference WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/W8/R6.11.19, regarding magnetic petrol type gauges, and in accordance with your request we will send you one Upright Petrol Gauge - and one Junior Side gauge, but before doing so we should like to know whether you desire these simply for inspection or for inspection test. If the latter we should require to have dimensions of your tank in order to make them up quickly. At the same time we will submit to you a Junior Side Gauge which we are supplying to Crossley's Motors Ltd., this has a larger dimension than the standard type, and would we think appeal to you. The sample we are sending you is aluminium, but we can supply either polished brass or brass nickel plated, just as you prefer. Our contract prices are given below and we would put the samples in of course at the same figure, the prices given being based on quantities. Standard Junior Side Gauge.
