Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 7th inst,
we should like to test these gauges in place as well as merely examined them, and accordingly we attach to this a sketch giving the principal dimensions of the petrol tank. If these particulars are not sufficient perhaps you would let us know as soon as possible.

If at the same time you would submit us a sample for inspection only, of the Junior Side Gauge you are supplying to Messrs. Crossley, this would be of much interest to us. We understand that you have a gauge capable of reading at a distance, and if so we should be glad if you would quote us for one of these.
