Watford EWB magnetos.
In the course of endurance tests carried out on these magnetos on the bench it has been found necessary, to avoid misfiring, to clean out the distributor after a few thousand miles the carbon dust accumulation being considerable. Most magneto manufacturers now fix jump spark distributors to avoid this and we suggest approaching Messrs North's and asking them to submit an experimental magneto fitted with a jump spark distributor. Bosch, Lucas, M-L, Scintilla, B.T.H etc all fix jump spark distributors as a standard.
