(Copy to Whr.{Mr Wheeler}London) I am in receipt of your memo EFC 5/A.D./24-10-29 re Contact Breaker points of standard magnetos, and in reply have to inform you that there are at present very few cars in this country equipped with Watford E.W.6 magnetos but we have not noticed any increase in trouble with platinum contacts. We are of opinion however that there is still room for improvement both in connection with magneto contacts and the low tension ignition contacts on all our cars in order that there may be the same amount of freedom from trouble in connection with these details as there is in connection with most others.
