X2628 To HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}9/CB23-10-20. There is one of the new type springs in here with a number of thin plates and a gunmetal hoop at the rear end. We think that the hoop is possible, but we do not think much of the spring, the ends of which are very thick, and the finish is very rough. We expect that you wish to have this spring for testing purposes, and if so, perhaps you would kindly collect it?
