Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} is sending his car in here in a week's time to have an engine fitted up with the parts giving improved performance reported in our Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/MH.{M. Huckerby}8.2.39. - in file 600.

The pieces required are:-

A set of raised crown pistons giving
6:1 c.r.
Bentley Camshaft, and
New Type Exhaust System.

If possible, we should like to fit 3 R.R. raised crown pistons and 3 Aerolite. We should also like to fit a cylinder block with short inserts to get a figure of merit for cylinder bore wear.

Will Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} please instruct the necessary parts if these are not already available. We suggest that as this car has previously been dealt with by Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} and the Test Dept., this practice should be continued.

The car will be available on Monday, February 27th, for ten days.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
