F.O.Hickling, Esq.,
Messrs. Ransome & Marles Bearing Co. Ltd.,

NOTTS.

Dear Hickling,

We want for an experimental gearbox an assembly of rollers and cage to run on a shaft .875 diameter. The rollers should be 5/8 square and the heads of the rivets securing the cage countersunk. We think it possible that this might be part of a standard heavy inch size bearing.

If you have to make one up for us can you do this fairly quickly.

For the job in hand we are proposing to locate the assembly not by the rollers but by end location on the cages. We should like to have your views on this.

Yours sincerely,
