remarks about the addition of supercharger reduction gear enlarging the size of a flat engine almost to that of a "V" shaped engine, but I should like information on this point:- Presuming the crank case of a Flat engine to be its greatest depth, that is say 18", would it not be possible to drive the supercharger at the back of the engine geared up or down in tandem with it? I only know motor car supercharger sizes & of course your aero engine supercharger may be of a greater diameter than 18" in which case it would form the greatest depth of the flat engine, but if you could spare me a moment and write to re-assure me I should be most grateful. I apologise for troubling you like this, I know how hostile I should | ||
