To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X3633 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG31.12.24. 40/50 HP. WHEEL CARRIERS. X3633 The failures which have occurred on the RR. wheel carriers up-to-date, were on the old type. We have now fitted up a car with the latest type wheel carriers. We suggest that a possible fault with the RR. wheel carrier is that the tubular stay is rigid and that all the deflection takes place locally on the frame side. It is far better for the tyre bracket to fail than the side member of the frame. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
