With reference to Hm {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} 's quarterly list of Complaints, we see that there are 22 complaints of brakes squeaking on the "India" cars. The majority of these are stated to be front wheel brake squeaks.
As we have found that a damper is such an efficient cure on the Phantom, we suggest that we should get out a similar device for "India". At the same time we are conducting tests with different types of lining.
