LOSS OF PETROL ON WRAITH.

In view of the remarks regarding the loss of petrol through the filler cap on 26.G.VI. in Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}'s. report, we have a remedy for this trouble as suggested in our memo. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems}6/JH. 8.12.37. which is fitted to 28.G.VI. and would like a scheme detailed to enable this to be fitted to all Wraiths, including those being built by RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}

We have done away with the vent in the leather washer on the cap and replaced it by a connection on the filler head to take a 3/16" copper pipe which is led across the top of the petrol tank and down clear of the body on the offside of the car.
