- 2 - As regards your Metal Fitters report, we find a great variation between your drawings and the samples which you submitted, and we do not believe that metal parts made up to your drawings could be used on this job. We found that you yourselves had screwed certain of the screws their whole length, contrary to the drawing specification, and we merely followed your example. Our Mr. Turner hopes to see you on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning re this matter, and will bring with him sample brass parts of condensers to illustrate these points.
